Über mehr als drei Jahre hinweg hat der Fotograf Ralf Schilberg bekannte Gesichter Düsseldorfs eingesammelt und fotografisch festgehalten. Entstanden ist daraus ein sehr persönlicher Bildband. Die Schwarz-Weiß-Fotografien werden ergänzt durch persönliche Düsseldorfer Kurzgeschichten der Porträtierten, sodass im Verlag noir blanche nun ein besonderes Düsseldorfer Zeitdokument vorliegt – Bildband und unterhaltsames Lesebuch zugleich. Im Buch vertreten sind Theaterdirektor René Heinersdorff (in der Maske des Mephisto auf dem Titelbild), Kabarettist Dieter Nuhr, der Schauspieler Armin Rohde, die Oberbürgermeister Stephan Keller und Thomas Geisel, Felix Krämer, Direktor des Kunstpalasts, Barbara und Christiane Oxenfort, die Künstlerin Meral Alma, Jacques Tilly und viele mehr.

For more than three years, the photographer Ralf Schilberg has collected and photographed well-known faces in Düsseldorf. The result is a very personal photo book. The black-and-white photographs are supplemented by personal short stories from Düsseldorf by those portrayed, so that the publishing house noir blanche now has a special contemporary document from Düsseldorf – both an illustrated book and an entertaining reader. Represented in the book are theater director René Heinersdorff (in the mask of Mephisto on the title picture), cabaret artist Dieter Nuhr, the actor Armin Rohde, the mayors Stephan Keller and Thomas Geisel, Felix Krämer, director of the Kunstpalast, Barbara and Christiane Oxenfort, the artist Meral Alma, Jacques Tilly and many more.
